Program Overview
Fatigue isn’t just about feeling tired—it’s a serious risk to safety, wellbeing, and productivity.
As leaders, we are responsible for creating a culture where fatigue is openly discussed and proactively managed. We need to be able to promote positive fatigue management practices, enourage adult-to-adult attitudes and behaviours, put controls in place to protect our people, and support them to access further health and wellbeing services when they need it.
This online program is designed to empower you to do all of the above, through fostering a culture of shared responsibility for fatigue management within your teams.
After completing this program you will be able to:
- Understand fatigue types and causes, and how fatigue impacts the brain
- Understand how to influence helpful fatigue management attitudes and behaviours in your team
- Understand how to reinforce positive fatigue management behaviours through recognition
- Know when and how to have fatigue-focused coaching conversations
In addition to your online program, you will also be able to access a Focus on Fatigue booklet full of handy tips on holding conversations about fatigue management with your team.
